This policy explains how A R K SHIPPING SERVICES LINES L.L.C (“ARK”, “we”) handles personal information collected through arkshippingcompany.com and related channels.

Information we collect

When you request a quote, contact us or track a shipment, you may share your name, company, email address, mobile number and details of your cargo and shipment references.

When you submit a form, we also record technical details to help us respond and understand how visitors find us: the page you were on, the referring website or campaign, your approximate location based on your IP address (city, region and country), and your device type, operating system and browser. The location lookup is performed by a third-party IP geolocation service at the moment you submit.

We do not sell your personal information.

WhatsApp and email

Our forms can open WhatsApp or your email app with your details pre-filled. Messages sent through these services are also subject to their providers’ privacy policies.

Where enquiries are stored

Form submissions are stored in a Google Sheet operated by us through Google Workspace and are accessible only to our team.

Sharing

We share shipment information only as needed to move your cargo — for example with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, customs authorities and our destination agents.

Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)

To keep automated spam out of our enquiry forms, we use Google reCAPTCHA. When you use a form, reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking scripts. To remember how you arrived during a visit, we keep a small record in your browser’s session storage, which is cleared when you close the browser tab. After you send an enquiry, we also keep a small note in your browser’s local storage so that our enquiry pop-up does not appear for you again. Google reCAPTCHA (see above) may set its own cookies when you use a form.
